Summer Camp 2010: June 14 through September 3

We offer an exciting, athletic, indoor and outdoor summer camp! Kids can enjoy all of our great gymnastics equipment indoors, and then do a bunch of fun sports activities in nearby parks! Below are all the details:

Ages 3-7yrs (children will be divided into groups based on age and sports experience)

Series of 1-week long camps during the summer (12 total)

Monday through Friday, 8:30AM drop-off, 12:30PM pick-up

There is a one-time, lifetime membership fee of $20

$300/week ~ 20% discount for additional siblings

$65 daily drop-in fee with 24 hours notice (space permitting)

There are no refunds and no make-ups for missed camp days

Outdoor sports include kickball/baseball, basketball, football, golf, hockey, soccer, tennis, volleyball, track and field, and all the old favorites (frisbee, jump rope, parachute, hop scotch, red rover, freeze tag, sidewalk chalk art, etc.). We'll do skill development for the young kids and sports play for the older kids. We'll also walk to nearby favorite field trip locations to experience all that our great neighborhood has to offer. There's no worries about a rain day because we just bring all the fun activities back inside to our fully equipped gyms! We provide all the great equipment as well as snacks and lunch. You provide the soon to be happily exhausted child, as well as sunscreen, a water bottle, and a change of clothes to be stored at Jump Ahead for the week of camp. Register by calling 773-857-5867. Fit Flip Camp 2010

Ages 8-14 years
Monday-Friday 1:30-3:30pm

Indoor/outdoor fitness camp designed to improve upon the following fitness fundamentals:
*agility*balance*cardiovascular endurance*coordination*flexibility*muscular endurance*muscular strength*nutritional awareness*range of motion*
Whether your goal is to cross-train for your favorite sport, or to trim down and tone up, this camp will achieve the above fundamental improvements in a fun and energetic atmosphere. Many activities will be performed outdoors in nearby Lincoln Park and we will also be utilizing our state of the art youth circuit training equipment and 25 foot long trampoline. In addition, each week a nutritional principle will be discussed and accompanied with a handout. Register now- space is limited!
Example camp day:
1:30 meet at Jump Ahead and stretch
1:45 walk briskly to park and jog 1 lap on the walking path
2:00 agility course drills and strength training stations
2:30 Pilates/Yoga based core strengthening
2:50 return to Jump Ahead for use of circuit machines
3:10 gymnastics circuit and trampoline skill development
